Started as an email provider I built to learn Elixir. Built most of it from the ground up—SMTP/IMAP servers, parts of the MTA, spam filtering, MUA. Kept adding features—chat, timeline, discussions all live under the Z umbrella now.
Long term, planning to keep adding features. The idea is to have the services you actually use in one place, under one account, without juggling a dozen different platforms.

The internet is shifting. AI-generated content is everywhere, and it's getting harder to tell what's real. Most platforms optimize for viral reach and follower counts—metrics that mean nothing when bots can fake them.
Z is designed around smaller circles of people you actually know and trust. We're building reputation systems based on your interactions with your community—who you talk to, who vouches for you, your actual contribution history. Public moderation logs, AI content labels, and trust networks instead of algorithmic feeds. Think less 'going viral' and more 'building credibility with people who matter.' The internet works better when trust is local, not global.
