Hot take:
I think the video-game GOTY awards are stupid.
At least the Oscars candidates are a somewhat comparable. Two hours of cinematic narrative on screen.
But Silksong vs Donkey Kong vs Death Stranding is silly. Just play what you like.
(Also, the best game is Absolum.)
